First adjustable column. Yes, it’s plumb. I wasn’t (flip-flops in boulder cellar).

Little guy. Apparently they don’t make small enough lolly columns, but since this was held up for years by a teetering rock sculpture/lightweight cedar post, I think a 6×6 will do just fine!
Love this one. It’s at about eye level on a huge rock. I think this is probably temporary, but still cool.
Jacking near the kitchen, where a spectacular failure of a beam made up of 5 (FIVE) 2x6s occurred, thanks to water pouring down the side of the chimney all those years.
Oh boy, this will be one footer for the “big lift” in the naughty corner, coming soon. Harden up, little concrete, you have a big job to do.
Our helper does not like (1) the floor being open, and (2) one or both of us being swallowed up in the floor. Causes lots of consternation.
